Position: General Manager – Purchase

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead the Purchase Department for the Encardio Rite Group at a global level. The incumbent will be responsible for formulating and executing centralized procurement strategies, optimizing vendor management, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing operations across all locations. Candidates with an engineering background and prior experience in managing large-scale procurement functions will be preferred.

·       Lead and oversee end-to-end procurement activities for the Encardio Rite Group globally.

·       Develop and implement centralized purchasing systems, policies, and best practices.

·       Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

·       Negotiate and finalize long-term rate contracts and strategic sourcing agreements.

·       Drive cost optimization through effective negotiation, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.

·       Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Projects, and Finance departments to align procurement activities with business objectives.

·       Establish key performance metrics for supplier evaluation and ensure continuous improvement.

·       Prepare and monitor purchase budgets, forecasts, and spend analysis reports.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

·       Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the purchase team to achieve departmental goals.

·       Implementation of a centralized and standardized procurement system across the organization.

·       Achievement of annual cost-saving and efficiency improvement targets.

·       Strengthened supplier network and long-term strategic sourcing partnerships.

·       On-time availability of quality materials to support production and project timelines.

·       Enhanced transparency, control, and audit readiness in all procurement operations.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).

·       MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Materials Management/Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
