Job Purpose:
Install, monitor, and maintain geotechnical instrumentation to support site investigation and structural monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate geotechnical instruments (piezometers, inclinometers, settlement markers, strain gauges, etc.)
- Take regular field readings and record data accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment
- Assist in site investigation and borehole logging activities
- Prepare daily/weekly data reports for engineers
- Ensure instruments and cabling are protected from site damage
- Follow HSE guidelines and site safety protocols
- Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for access and installation schedules
